It’s depressing that most people go through life
hating their jobs. Your job shouldn't be a grind to go through in order to live, it should be a project, an activity. Something that you would do for fun with money as a consequence.
I love making games. So much in fact I want to make a career out of it. The problem with that though is how I can’t make the kind of games I’d like to yet. I’m just not on that level. So I started a blog to chronicle the things I go through to get to that level.
Today marks the launch of Yotes Games, my little experiment in game development. Here I'm going to chronicle all the things that go on as I create video games. I know it'll be humble beginnings until I get more experience this, and just like with making games, with practice I'll get better. This site will start to feel like home as I continue to add content and provide readers like you with insight into one of the most humble of indie game development studios: me, a college kid making mobile apps to get a grasp on game creation in order to make his dream game a reality. Watch me as I go from young hopeful to a great game designer, or watch as my ambitious dreams burst into flames (I really hope it's the first one).
