Okay. A few weeks into the new year now. And how are we doing? Well, not bad. But also not finished. We charted out a schedule for the new year without taking into account all the magical random distractions personal life can deliver and all the bugs of features past rising up to haunt us once more.
The game is gaining new features fast but we really need to take time to play with them thoroughly because each time we do we discover some gaping flaw that could ruin a player's experience (usually via a softlock or game crash). The end results of this three-day weekend of crazy effort are nothing to scoff at.
I can't believe how quickly the game is springing to life lately. It looks so good and feels so snappy and awesome to play! There's still a lot of polishing we need to do before calling it a "Beta Test Build" but we're really getting there exponentially faster.
