Battle Gem Ponies: Ghost Class Moves


     These moves come from the ponies that go *bump* in the night. They attack targets through another channel of existence. Harnessing this spirit energy can trick your opponents and turn a number of scenarios in your favor. Check out some spooky Ghost Attacks below the break!

Doom Desire

  • The user and foe will both faint after 3 turns unless the user is defeated or switches.
Dream Feast

Class:  Ghost | ---

  • The user eats the energy from the target's dreams to restore HP.
Dying Wish

Class:  Ghost | ---

  • If the user faints from a move by the foe that turn, the foe is knocked out too.
Hex

Class:  Ghost | Dark
|  GP: 6   | POW: 0  |  ACC: --  |  HIT: Status  |
  • The user sacrifices a quarter of its max HP to cast an evil curse on the target.
Hex Powder

Class:  Ghost | Plant
|  GP: 6   | POW: 0  |  ACC: 75  |  HIT: Status  |
  • A lingering spore curses the opponent who takes the user down. Lasts 2 turns.
Night Shade

Class:  Ghost | ---

  • The target is frightened by an illusion that inflicts damage equal to the target's level.
Nightmare

Class:  Ghost | Dark

  • A sleeping target is harmed by an intense nightmare every turn.
Ominous Wind

Class:  Ghost | Air

  • Generates a ghostly wind to hurt the foe. It may raise the user's energy attack stat.
Petrify

Class:  Ghost | ---

  • Frightens the target into paralysis.
Phantom Horn

Class:  Ghost | ---

  • An unavoidable attack by a ghostly horn emerging from the shadows.
Possession

Class:  Ghost | Magic

  • The user takes the form of a shattered party gem for the duration of battle.
Shadow Claw

  • The user slashes with a sharp claw formed from shadows. High critical-hit chance.
Shadow Fang

Class:  Ghost | Dark

  • The user bites into the soul of the target. It may leave the victim cursed or staggered.
Shared Soul

  • Both combatants will have their HP reduced to the lowest of the two.
Shiver

Soul Sphere

  • A sinister ball of spirit energy is shot at the foe, possibly lowering its energy defense.
Spirit Bomb

  • A 2 turn attack. The user gathers heavenly light to blast at the foe.
Spook

  • The user startles the target with a ghostly shriek that may cause paralysis.
Will-O-Wisp

Class:  Ghost | Fire

  • A sinister flame is shot at the foe to inflict a burn.
